Taily Wags Dog Grooming is located in Clinton Michigan. It is owned by
me...
Steph Finkbeiner.
I love my job and I owe my thanks to Dena and the rest of the staff at
MSCC.
They gave me the confidence to go out and start my own business. They
teach
you all the skills and you practice with great pets. I started doing
just a
few dogs a week at home, then over the course of two years it has busted
into a full time deal. I just a few months ago purchased commercial property down town and set
up
shop. I can not even believe how happy I am now. I make my own schedule,
if
you want to work... you make money. The earning potential is up to you.
I
love all of the dogs I groom and look forward to when the owners come to
pick them up and they see how cute they look. That's when you get that
proud
happy feeling. It is so much fun when you know what fabrics to pick out
for
certain pets or what will make the owners smile, and to know that I made
them smile and their pet look cute!!! I feel so happy at the end of the
day
and am thankful that I decided to invest in the school. The investment
has
paid for its self well over and over again. On that note I would also
like
to mention that I would hire any one who graduated from MSCC. I was so
happy
with the training and all that I was taught that it would be a dream to
have
any of their students .
THANK YOU MSCC

Hello Dena and staff, Just wanted to give you an update of where I am
and what I have been doing in the last six months since I've graduated
last Sept. The hardest decision I've had to make is which job offer to
take! I landed at a great place called Peppermint Pet Parlor only five
minutes from my house in Canton. I work with six other groom ers and
they all say how impressed they are with my talent, knowledge and
efficiency considering I just graduated. I've been told by the owner
that in 30 years of being in the business, I'm the best she has seen
right out of school. This complement is a direct reflection of
everything I was taught by attending MSCC in Lansing. Thanks to all of
you at the school, I was more than ready to take on my new career and
all of it's challenges after taking the 600 hour class. I recommend the
600 hour class for all beginners because it covers all that is needed
in starting a new career. I remember not knowing anything about
grooming when I first began and to be transformed into being compared
with others who have done this for a long time is a great feeling. I
now have 10 clients that are my request and I've only been at Pet
Parlor for five months!!! Hope all is well and I'll keep you posted.
Thanks again for everything. It was a great experience.
